Give 'em time. Why does it matter if they don't care either way?

The principle at my sisters high school made a guy who had a rebel flag t-shirt put a jacket on over it because he said it might offend some1. One girl asked the principle why he had to take it off. He said once again,"It might offend someone." She said "Well then make people wearing gay pride shirts take them off! They offend me!" The principle was silent.. I'm not saying I'm a rebel, but I'd rather see some1 at my school wearing a rebel flag shirt than a gay pride shirt.

But as soon as a non-religious person opens their mouth, they're a big jerk.

The "true" meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the winter solstice, so I don't know why they even need to whine about Jesus's birthday getting forgotten. I like the commercialization of Christmas, the decorations, people buying presents for each other, etc. I bet religious people like that, too. But if they really want Christmas to embrace Jesus's birthday, then they should be willing to give those things up.

That only means something to someone who already believes in God. Otherwise, that argument has no ground to stand on.
